It's official! (pictures added on Wednesday!!)

Today we went back to the Civil Affairs Office to sign the final adoption paperwork and have our interviews with the officials. We were give temporary (24 hour) custody yesterday so that we could make sure we wanted her!!! Guess what we said?!! After that we stopped by a small shopping mall and went through the local department/gocery superstore called Carrefour. We were able to stock up on the local formula so that we could transition, as well as any junk food, soda, water, etc. Then it was back to the hotel for more quiet family time. Tomorrow and Thursday we will get out for a little sightseeing while we wait for the babies' Chinese passports to be drawn up so we can move on to the next phase. The internet is too slow here in the evening to upload any pictures, so I will get them to you in the morning. It is so strange to know that it is Tuesday morning at home and I am about to go to bed, and when I wake up tomorrow morning it will still be Tuesday at home!

Good Morning, Its Wednesday at 8:00 am and I just looked at the pictures.
Its is so nice to see you all just beaming. I am so happy for you. Everything is fine here. All the fish are good. Randy brought in the papers from the mailbox. We put the Harford Courant and The Norwich Bulletin on the table for Gotcha Day. So you are all set with those. Megan looks adorable in the purple outfit. She is so sweet. I am glad everything is going as planned. Can't wait to see you all. Talk to you soon. Love and God Bless Randy,Lynn,Ally and Thomas

We are so happy for all of you that our prayers have been answered and, of course, we will continue praying for Megan's smooth transition even after you return home. The day/night change will be a big job for everyone. What a joy to see you all smiling and enjoying your new baby. Love to all, Jan and Perry

As stated before, we are all so excited for you all. Interesting, though, that the one family didn't look as happy as the rest. Perhaps they were tired. Sure hope it isn't because the baby wasn't as beautiful as they hoped. We are praying for everyone's safe return!
